Danish Hasan is a public health advocate, social entrepreneur and community activist. His childhood days were spent in the sprawling suburbs of Karachi, Pakistan where he was born and the calm villages surrounding Dublin, Ireland where he was raised. As parents moved in pursuit of their education, Danish was exposed to many cultures, traditions, and experiences from an early age. By the time he was 13, Danish had lived in seven cities across three continents.
With an interest to impact health care policy, Danish completed his degree in Public Health at the University of South Florida. His outstanding work leading his nonprofit organization, Tampa’s Opioid Research Network saw him being recognized as the youngest ever recipient of the USF Outstanding Alumni Award in 2019. Danish pursued his master's degree in legal studies at the internationally renowned Washington University School of Law in St. Louis before relocating to Chicago to continue his medical journey.
In 2020, he started Empower Yourself, a personal development organization to help those effected by the COVID-19 pandemic apply to colleges, graduate schools, and for employment. Danish continues to serve his community as an educator, speaker, and nonprofit consultant.
